Analysis of visual influence of buildings was made by Arhitektūras birojs Forma, SIA un Karklins Design Studio LLC to estimate visual influence of buildings to historical center of Riga city. The Masterplan was developed by Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) ,OVE ARUP & PARTNERS Ltd. and Inside Outside. After the proposal was declined Forma / KDS / Grupa 93 designed final version of Andrejsala masterplam concept which was accepted in 2010.

Ligatne Cultural-Historical Heritage trail is located in Ligatne, the district of Cesis, Latvia. Historical village of Ligatne Paperfactory is a unique example of 19th century Paperfactory environment. It is nominated as a State Urban Planning monument and is included into Gauja National Park teritory. Concept and design of the project of Ligatne Cultural-Historical Heritage trail forsees forming infrastructure and care of the environment, including renovation of historical buildings as well as reconstruction of bridges.

Forest school in Riga , Latvia reconstruction and new buildings

The “Forest school” is seccondary school for 200 children including rehabilitation. Program requirements ask for clasrooms, dormitory accommodations of 90 students, canteen, gymnasium , meeting hall, activity rooms, rehabilitation gym, exercise room for massage and small indoor pool.There are three buildings for whole complex – teaching and dormitory building, gymnasium including small children classes and historical bulding for out of class work, library, rehabilitation.

School building constructed in 1876 – 1879. by architect J. D. Felsko design, addition in 1980. Building located in the Historical center of Riga. There were not planned changes in planning of the clasrooms.The main task was to create additional spece for recreation, wardrobes and reconstruction of canteen.

New building of Ventspils City hospital

The new Ventspils hospital building project reflects the desire of it’s designers to create emotionally positive atmosphere permeated with associations of domestic comfort and privacy. Welcoming character of the building facilitates mental well-being of patients expediting their recovery as a result. Proximity to the sea and surrounding pine forest, as well as the context of traditional detached single family homes inspired us to think of the proposed four storey building as a large glazed veranda. Facade composition pattern, large roof overhangs, use of natural wood finishes on the exterior as well as interior of the hospital reference local tradition of residential building type. Lower building volumes housing a small conference room and cafeteria located on the Vasarnicu Street side of the main building help perceptually negotiate its scale and visual impact on the surrounding neighborhood.
